Hops 2.0

It is definitely spring time here in Monterey, our flowers are blooming, cherry and apple trees have blossoms, temperatures are over 60 and the hops are sprouting. Last year I had a decent harvest, but year two and three are suppose to be even better. Thus far the cascade variety has taken off, but I have hopes for the hoppiest variety, magnum. From what I've read about hops I should end up with several pounds of hops. Wait and see...

Cascade hops are doing the best so far.
