My dad, brother and sister-in-law happened to be visiting the weekend of the concours d'elegance at Pebble Beach. In years past I've been out of town dispatched to wildfires and have missed the car show. However, this year has been quiet on the fire front and I could actually go to the show (it didn't disappoint). While at the show, we saw very impressive and expensive collection of cars and even Jay Leno. In fact, some of the cars are in the millions of dollars price range with a few described as 'priceless'. Check out the pics below.
First conducted in 1950, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is often said to be the world’s premier celebration of the automobile. Only the most beautiful and rare automobiles are invited to appear on the famed eighteenth fairway of Pebble Beach Golf Links each year, and connoisseurs of art and technology congregate to see them(from the Concours d'Elegance website).
