Christmas Tree

Kate found a nice family owned tree farm just north of Monterey.  On Saturday, we set off to get our Christmas tree 'Griswold style', (minus the snow of course.) We found a great tree, with Colin's help, and brought it home with no issues. In other words, it didn't blow off the car ;-).  The real question was how is Colin going to react to having a tree in the house?  We initially were planning on putting up a small tree on a desk out of reach.  However, we took a chance and set up a full sized tree.  Worst case scenario, we cut the big tree in half and place it on the desk.  So far (knock on wood) Colin really hasn't been too interested in touching it.  Colin likes pointing to the tree and enjoys when it is lit, but hasn't tried to pull it down.  It probably helps that we only decorated the upper half of the tree.

That looks like a good tree
Hey Dad, let me help.
What do you mean I can't use the saw?
What a lumberjack

Time to put it on the car

Christmas Tree all decorated.
