It was bound to happen sooner or later, but how it happened was pretty funny. For a variety of reasons we have been bringing Colin into our bed during the night if he wakes up crying. Lately, we have been trying to brake this habit and we were going to be a united front. It didn't matter if Colin woke up crying during the night, but we would let him cry it out. We would go over and comfort him and tell him it was "Night Night Time", but not bring him over to our bed. After about 35 minutes of crying, the crying suddenly got louder. Matt opened the bedroom door to investigate and there was Colin standing in the hallway. Our little Houdini managed to climb over the crib and open his bedroom door while wearing his sleep-sack. Needless to say, it was time to convert his crib to a bed. Our little guy is growing up.
