Christmas 2015

As the boys get older, the weeks leading up to Christmas are getting much more fun every year.  This year we attended Holiday parades, made several batches of cookies, gingerbread houses and attended tree lightings. Before heading back East, we had a California Christmas and celebrated the holiday with Nana Ruth.  Our journey back to Pennsylvania was arduous to say the least.  Traveling during the holidays is always tricky, but traveling with two little ones make it even more challenging.  Now factor in the total wildcard, the weather. We found out mid-flight that our NY to Philly connection was cancelled. Now what?  After a few moments of panic we landed and booked a rental car.  The kids were great during this whole ordeal and passed out once we hit the road despite a hellacious rain storm.  Waking up the next day and seeing all the kids playing together made it all worth it. It was a very memorable trip.
