First Swim Lesson

Our gym, Monterey Peninsula Wellness Center, started offering swim lessons to children six months and older. We couldn't pass up on the opportunity since the gym is down the street and we wanted to start swimming with Colin. We were a little worried that Colin wouldn't like swimming since his first experience didn't go so well, granted it was in a lake.  Also, about two months ago bath time was not fun and usually would end quickly with lots of tears.  Thankfully, bath time has become much more enjoyable over the past few weeks.  One great perk about this swim lesson, it is held in a therapy pool which makes it feel like a warm bath.  Colin and Matt had a great time and Colin did pretty well.  He even got his face wet a few times, but we think it was unintentional.  Colin practiced floating on his back, floating on his stomach while Matt blew bubbles and practiced 'jumping' off the wall into Matt's arms.  All in all it was a great time and we can't wait for next week.

This was fun! Can't waiting for next week
