Christmas 2014

We definitely didn't miss shuttling two kids through the airport for a cross country flight, but we missed spending Christmas with Matt's family. For the first in 10 years we didn't travel for the holidays.  We did manage to start some of our own family traditions, which made this year special.  We went to our Church's Christmas Eve service, which featured a nativity pageant put on by kids.  Colin didn't participate, but he enjoyed watching his friends. Maybe next year he can be a sheep.  After the service we got the boys ready for bed and read 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. Colin made sure to put out some cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer.

There was definitely no sleeping in on Christmas morning as Colin was ready to see what Santa brought.  We had a relatively relaxing Christmas day and enjoyed saying hello to family on Facetime.
